- The above pic was taken in San Pedro,, just outside San Louis Potosi, MX. If you are reading this blog, you probably know at least a little about me. My husband, Curtis, and I enjoy travelling. This summer, we both are attending Span. lang. school in Mexico all summer. We are excited about it! Curtis is a teacher of autistic children. I am "retired" from public schools, but am employed by Therapy 2000, a pediatric home health agency, which is great in understanding my quest for learning Spanish. I also contract with school districts to provide speech/language therapy. Currently I am contracting at Phoenix Charter. I am fortunate to have great coworkers in both settings! I have one son, Luke. He is engaged to April. We love being with them and will miss them this summer. April just accepted a teaching position. She is thrilled and we are very happy for her. Luke spent five years in the Coast Guard where he was an electrician's mate. He is now employed at L3 Communications Systems and is very glad he is no longer experiencing winters in Buffalo, NY.

ReplyDeleteSounds like you are having an exciting summer. Tristan wants to study abroad in a Spanish speaking country so I hope you can help him with that. Guadalajara and Buenos Aires are 2 places USC has programs. He says he wants to minor in Spanish. I admire you for immersing yourselves in the language and the culture- I would like to do that one day. Take care! Mary
Mary, so great to hear from you! Tristan needs to go to Guadalajara in my opinion. It's the real deal. Fantastic that he wants to minor in Spanish. He wrote me in Span. and like everything he does, it was exceptional! Would love to have you come here one day. Perhaps we could all come. That would be fun!
